RACE has updated the setting files for the Bosch MG1US008 ECU, expanding the calibration possibilities for 1.4L, 1.5L, 1.6L and 2.0L engines installed in numerous models from leading Asian manufacturers.

This update has been developed to provide calibration professionals with even more complete and detailed references, helping them create increasingly accurate modifications.

The Bosch MG1US008 ECU is used across a particularly wide range of saloons, SUVs, off-road vehicles and pick-ups, with power outputs ranging from compact 1.4L turbo engines to higher-performance 2.0L turbo units.

Some of the most widely used applications included in the update are:

• GWM Haval H6 2.0L Turbo, in the 155 kW and 167 kW versions;
• Chery Tiggo 8 1.6L TGDI, 137 kW;
• Omoda 5 1.6L TGI, 108 kW;
• Changan CS35 Plus 1.4L Turbo, 118 kW;
• SAIC MG5 1.5L Turbo, 126 kW.

Having updated setting files available means being able to work more accurately on the different engine management systems, correctly assessing the strategies used on turbocharged petrol engines.
