UPGRADING CFMOTO MT-X WITH RAPID BIKE SMART2
INCREASED TORQUE AND SMOOTHER POWER DELIVERY TO ENHANCE THE RIDING PLEASURE
Dimsport's Rapid Bike department has successfully completed the development of new settings for the CFMOTO 1000 MT-X.
Designed for those loving long journeys without sacrificing fun on the curves, the maxi crossover made in China benefits from Rapid Bike Smart2 technology to enrich fueling mixture and to improve the twin-cylinder's power delivery throughout the entire range.
Tests conducted on Dyno Bike confirm a noticeable improvement in rideability thanks to a more consistent throttle response and to significant torque gain.
RAPID BIKE SMART2: STRONGER AT EVERY THROTTLE OPENING
Modulation of stock lambda sensor signal allows Rapid Bike Smart2 to optimize carburation in real-riding conditions, and to compensate for the highly strict fueling settings forced by Euro 5+ regulations. The result is a smoother and more responsive engine with regular power delivery across the entire rev range. The throttle becomes more responsive and accurate, while mid-range revs become stronger, and the typical on/off effect is significantly reduced; the bike feels smoother and more enjoyable to ride, especially on winding roads where engine reactivity and progression make a real difference.
A MORE EFFICIENT CROSS TOURER WITH RAPID BIKE SMART2
Comparative tests show an increase in performance even at partial throttle openings. With the Smart2, the CFMOTO 1000 MT-X reaches:
• 26 hp compared to the 24.2 hp in stock configuration at 30% throttle opening;
• 17.8 hp compared to 17.3 hp at 20% throttle opening.
Even at full load the power delivery curve improves, while torque steps up from standard 94 Nm to 95.7 Nm, securing a stronger response throughout the mid-range. The engine is more reactive when exiting corners, therefore it is not necessary to use continuously a lower gear; riding becomes more intuitive and enjoyable, especially on routes with many changes in direction and when travelling fully loaded.
Rapid Bike Smart2 confirms its peculiarity to enhance the characteristics of the 1000 MT-X, offering a noticeable improvement in performance and rideability without affecting the bike's reliability and the stock ECU management.
